18.00 Dokumentarfilm & Musicvideos aus Polen – Eintritt frei!

Das Programm umfasst eine musikalische Reise durch die Musiklandschaft Polens mit faszinierender Persönlichkeiten aus der Welt der traditionellen & modernen Musik. Wir zeigen den Dokumentarfilm Agonia, der u.a. beim Warschauer Filmfestival den Publikumspreis gewonnen hat. Im Anschluss daran ein Musikvideoprogramm in Kooperation mit Filmowe Podlasie atakuje! (Film Podlasie in Attack!) dazu Krzysiek Sienkiewicz, einer der Gründer*innen der Initiative:

„Film Podlasie in Attack!“ (FPA!) ist eine erkennbare und seltene Marke. Es ist eine positive Werbung für die Region, für unabhängige Filme und Filmemacher*innen, vor allem aber für ein positives Filmklima. Unsere Region Podlachia (Podlasie) ist nicht nur Natur, Wälder und Wisente. Mit vielen kreativen und einfallsreichen Menschen von hier haben wir ein Gesamtkonzept von FPA erstellt! Wir betreiben Plattformen zur Unterstützung lokaler Filmemacher, organisieren Filmveranstaltungen mit ihren Kurzfilmen in ganz Polen und Europa, organisieren Workshops und Filmtreffen. Hier präsentieren wir eine speziell ausgewählte Sammlung von Musikvideos, die von Menschen aus dem Nordosten Polens erstellt wurden.“

Zu Gast aus der Städtepartnerregion Podlasien ist der Musikvideo Regisseur Kobas Laksa.

The programme includes a musical journey through Poland’s musical landscape with a gallery of fascinating personalities from the world of traditional & modern music. We will show the documentary Agonia, which won the audience award at the Warsaw Film Festival, among others. Followed by a music video programme in cooperation with Filmowe Podlasie atakuje! (Film Podlasie in Attack!) with Krzysiek Sienkiewicz, one of the founders of the initiative:

“Film Podlasie in Attack! ( FPA!)is a recognizable and rare brand. It is a positive promotion of the region, independent films and film-makers, but most of all of positive climate around films. Our region Podlachia ( Podlasie) is not only nature, forests and bisons. With many creative and imaginative people from here we created general concept of FPA! We run platform that support local film people, organize film events with their shorts around Poland and Europe, organize workshops and film meetings. Here we come up with a special selected music videos collection made by people from northern-east of Poland.”

The music video director Kobas Laksa is a guest from the twin-city region of Podlasia.

Die traditionelle Musik kennt keine Noten; sie lebt und spielt so lange wie ihre Interpreten, von denen es immer weniger gibt.Wir beobachten die Dämmerung dieser Realität mit den Augen des Sängers und Instrumentalisten Adam Strug. Es ist die filmische Geschichte eines Versuchs, die Zeit anzuhalten. Der Film ist ein Roadmovie, das den Zuschauer durch die Regionen Polens und zahlreiche musikalische Traditionen führt. Es ist eine vielschichtige Geschichte über Liebe, Bitterkeit, Leben und Vergehen. I Traditional folk music knows no musical notes; it lives and plays as long as its performers, of whom fewer and fewer remain. We observe the twilight of this reality through the eyes of singer and instrumentalist Adam Strug. It is the cinematic story of an attempt to stop time. The film is a road movie, taking its viewers across Poland’s regions and numerous musical traditions. This is a multilayered story about love, bitterness, life and passing.
